The accident
I saw the accident,
you were there in the ambulance,
inside your body there was a light,
shining but ignoring just how far this went out.
I saw the accident too,
you were there in the ambulance,
I saw the accident,
You were there in the ambulance.
On my own, all alone,
by the window i could see
in a dream you’ll probably notice,
but i’m sure we’ll never meet.
And a tear wouldn’t surprise me
‘cos im left to my own devices,
to my own accidents.
And i'm there, there, there,
just like everybody else:
so far away,
left to my own devices,
to my own accidents.
I saw the accident too,
you were there in the ambulance,
I saw the accident,
You were there in the ambulance.
And a tear wouldn’t surprise me
‘cos im left to my own devices,
to my own accidents.
